Explore and Innovate: Public legal education in a time of change

The Public Legal Education Association of Canada (PLEAC) is holding its annual conference in Ottawa, Ontario, from February 18 to 19, 2026, at the Westin Ottawa, with an additional day for providers of public legal education and information on February 20, at the University of Ottawa, Learning Crossroads (CRX).

Co-presented by Community Legal Education Ontario (CLEO) and the Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN), the PLEAC conference will bring together a range of stakeholders who are interested in sharing and learning about public legal education and access to justice development in Canada.

Accommodations

PLEAC has put on hold a limited number of hotel rooms with the conference hotel, Westin Ottawa. If you are looking to book your accommodation with the conference hotel, please book under PLEAC's group rate using this direct booking link.

This conference is taking place during Ramadan. PLEAC will be providing supports and making accommodations so that conference participants who observe Ramadan are able to attend and engage with as few barriers as possible.
